Luminary Festival

In its 37th year of bringing holiday cheer to the streets, businesses, residents and island visitors, Luminary will again light up the pathways with candlelight, warm welcome and goodwill. Sanibel Island will celebrate Luminary on Friday, December 3 and Captiva Island on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Luminary Holiday Stroll is a community-wide holiday event that brings together residents, visitors, businesses and organizations, promoting goodwill and community spirit. Besides candle-lined walkways, the festivities bring live music, decorations, sidewalk sales and other retail deals, and free refreshments to the scene. The cherished golf cart parade will return to Captiva's celebration.
